Most Asked Questions & Answers
What must the reference be if you are paying your R190 for TAC?
Your CELLPHONE NUMBER and nothing else, with no spaces – this is very, very important. For South Africa, the format is 071 354 1291, and for international payments, it would be 00. Do NOT use +00 or +0, as the +27 affects the payment process
How does the community structure work in TAC and KhayaConnect?
A. It’s a straightforward 4 x 4 structure in TAC and 4 x 7 in KhayaConnect. In TAC, you progress through tiers 1, 2, 3, and 4, ultimately having 256 connectors in your community on tier 4. When you have your 4 direct people in TAC, and they each get their 4 (4 x 4 = 16), you have a total of 20 people, which qualifies you to enter KhayaConnect
Can I join KhayaCONNECT directly without joining TAC?
No. Unfortunately, you cannot. TAC is explicitly stated as the pathway to KhayaConnect
What happens if I register using the wrong upline’s link and end up in someone else’s structure?
If you register with the incorrect link, you will NOT be moved back to your original structure; you will remain where you joined. It is crucial to ensure you are clicking on the correct referral link, checking that your upline’s name appears there
What happens if a connector is unable to find their 4 required connectors within a month?
If you do not have your 4 connectors, you will need to pay your full monthly membership the following month. To assist, that connector can purchase leads (R50 for 5 leads). Additionally, the upline or other team members can “bless” them with a connector they bring in
What documents are needed for registration and Know Your Customer (KYC)/FICA requirements?
For TAC, you need a copy of your ID, Passport, or Driver’s License for a “lively test” via the ID Analizer platform; proof of address is not needed at this stage. For KhayaConnect, the required proof of address will be a letter you receive from TAC on Class 2. FICA (which includes KYC) is necessary to receive your SIM card and to withdraw money. Green ID Books are accepted, though their validation method may differ from Smart ID Cards
How do people without bank accounts pay their R190 registration fee for TAC or withdraw their earnings?
For payment, they can deposit cash at an ATM, remembering to use their cellphone number as the reference. For withdrawals, they have the option to use an E-Wallet (incurring a R50 per withdrawal fee), or they can use someone else’s bank account with their agreement
What are the time limits for activation links and membership periods?
For KhayaConnect, an activation link is active for two hours once sent, but if it lapses, you can send it again at a later stage. For TAC, there is no 2-hour limit and no time limit to register. However, TAC membership is monthly, and to ensure your R190 payment is reserved for the next month, you need to acquire your 4 personal connectors before the 25th of the current month. KhayaConnect operates on a monthly debit order from your KC wallet, and provides a 30-day grace period
